For each visa application document and important notes, please visit the Consular Section - Visas page on the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines website and review the details for each category.

＊All required documents from the Japanese side can now be submitted as A4 paper copies.

＊Original documents from the Philippine side are still required, as before.

Once all application documents are ready, please bring them to our office in person.

If you reside outside Metro Manila, you may apply by mail via LBC. Please contact us if you wish to apply by mail.

Please note that we do not accept direct document submissions from Japan to our office.
